To write this book, authors Kristi and Gidget traveled around the United States to find and interview enterprising young people (girls and boys), who have succeeded at an idea or dream themselves. Each story is special and rewarding, and demonstrates inner strength, self-esteem, confidence, courage, self-identity, and social skills - topics all parents hope their children can embody.

The authors of Dream It and Create It wish to empower young people to know who they are and know what brilliant, special gifts they have to share with the world so they grow up with the self-esteem they need to achieve whatever they believe possible.
