How To Create a Fundraising Campaign

Welcome! The Virtual Lemonade Stand is an incredible platform for people 18 and under to fund an innovative vision, business idea or life dream! Our goal is to give the dreams and visions of young people a voice to be heard, seen and supported!

We made it super easy to set up an account so you can raise funds quickly for the ideas and dreams you are passionate about. Donors from all over the world can securely donate as long as they have a major credit or debit card. 

Creating an account and launching your Vision is free. Fees will only deducted from a donation. See “Fees” for details.

We have a video to walk you through and written steps below. Please contact us with any questions. We are happy to help!

GETTING STARTED

  1. Click “Sign Up.”
  2. Fill in the required info. NOTE: People under age 13 must use a parent's email.
  3. Go to your email.
  4. Open the email from KidVisionaries.
  5. Click on the activation link.
  6. Log In.
  7. Click Create Your Vision at the top.
  8. CREATE YOUR CAMPAIGN!
    1. Choose Your Category
    2. Choose Your Goal
    3. CLICK Create Your Campaign
  9. SET UP YOUR CAMPAIGN
    1. Add images, titles, descriptions, video, choose page color, etc! Make your vision page creative, easy to understand and include great images and videos. Inspire people to donate to your Vision!
    2. Perks - if you plan to offer rewards for donations, enter them here. Otherwise, leave it blank. It is optional.
    3. BE SURE TO “SAVE” EACH SECTION.
    4. CLICK Boost Your Campaign.
  10. BOOST YOUR CAMPAIGN
    1. Add people, more images, more videos, or documents to explain your Vision.
    2. Add links to any social media accounts you have created to help boost visibility.
    3. BE SURE TO “SAVE” EACH SECTION.
    4. CLICK Get Funded.
  11. GET FUNDED
    1. THIS STEP MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOU GO LIVE.
      1. You need to set up an account with PayPal in order to received your funding. You must be 18 or over, have a US address and and have a valid US checking account to sign up with PayPal. 
      2. Your Vision will stay in draft/edit mode until this step is complete.
  12. GO LIVE!
    1. Congratulations! You have set up your Fundraising Campaign! Now, let your family friends and anyone you know about your Fundrasing page and ask for support to get your idea, dream or vision created!
